Biography

Sakhile Moleshe b.1985 is a Vocalist, Composer, Poet based in Johannesburg South Africa. Sakhile is an accomplished musical arranger and voice over artist, who has dabbled in a vast array of art forms from movement theatre, cabaret, video editing, DJing and theatre directing. He is the former lead vocalist of Multi SAMA Award winning Electro Jazz duo band Goldfish whose collaborations with the group on songs such as “Fort Knox” and “We Come Together” have garnered well over 12 million views on Youtube. He is the founder and director of his own publishing company Imilozi Music that is renowned for having provided the Music Comparative Analysis report, which uncovered the smash-hit summer song “Omunye” by Distruction Boys (feat Dladla Mshunqisi and Benny Maverick) as a copyright infringement of the song “Trip to New York” by Dj Lag. Sakhile is the co-founder of the online radio platform Globalize Yourself Stereo and he co-leads the band Soul Housing Project alongside Bokani Dyer of Dyertibe Music. Sakhile holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Studies from the South African College of Music at the University of Cape Town.
